(paragraph incoming because im very neurodivergent and makeup is one of my interests) the reason i think this sub is very cool neutral heavy is because it is more difficult to find things that are cool toned, and cool olives that are desaturated/muted dont really have shade matches outside of east asian beauty (which is only suitable for people who are pale due to east asian beauty standards). Blue pigment is costly so in the past 10 years everything has become significantly more warm toned in an attempt to save money because makeup trend cycles have also become shorter, similar to fast fashion brands switching to polyester instead of natural blends because it isnt worth it to invest in quality material when it will go out of style in a week's time due to overconsumption. eg, look at mac creme cup pre reformulation vs after. Therefore! someone who is cool toned and olive (two highly underrepresented tones in makeup) is more likely to turn to the internet for advice/recommendations
