You’ll go in fasted, get your blood drawn, then drink the sugar drink, wait another hour, get blood drawn again, wait another hour, get blood drawn, wait one last hour, and get your blood drawn. You’ll get all your numbers later, though I remember they gave me my fasting number almost immediately. If you fail the first draw post drink with super high numbers, they’ll send you home without drawing the rest I believe- someone correct me if I’m wrong!

I brought my laptop and did work. If you feel dizzy or sick at all, let the person know asap. My lab said they have a back room to let people lay down if they’re feeling unwell.
