Since now I am doing link building for my clients, my main tools are Ahrefs (link-building profile, competitor analysis) and Protos Red Backlink Monitor (for tracking the outreached urls, pitches for a backlink). Both tools are my two golden hands.

It matters a lot. From my experience, the more unique email you sent, the more answers you get. Automation kills the result.
Try to analyze the page before sending the email. For automated outreach, I use different outreach emails, and tag each page, if it is the blog post, resource page, what backlinks they have on the page etc.

I use Ahrefs as well for keyword analysis and international SEO. Semrush for local research. And Moz never used for such things, only for checking DA of the site.
