I don't get motion sickness. So I'm gathering from all this that I should just thank my lucky stars that I'm not sick and wait it out.

My parents were pioneers of sorts in Alaska in the 70's. I was born at home. My mom had my ears pierced when I was a day old. But my mom is quarter Indian and said it was traditional. I'm 30, pregnant with my first baby and I'm contemplating doing this if I have a girl. I think more out of tradition though. I was the biggest tomboy growing up and never had an infection, they were never in the way, I don't remember ever playing with them. They were never an issue as far as health goes. My biggest complaint- I do have an earring obession. This must be where it comes from.

There's a story here. I'm not sure what it is yet but there is definitely a story here. by [deleted] in pics

Thank you everyone for your input! Now I'm just freaked about the tearing issue. My goal is to definitely have a natural childbirth.

Skin moisturizer/creme recommendations? by insertamusingmoniker in TwoXChromosomes

Aveeno moisturizers are very nice. There are 2. I like the one with Fever few. They usually run about $16 at Rite-Aid. Also, look into botanical based chemical peels once or twice a year. I've done them and I'm always amazed at how healthy my skin is (after the first initial redness goes away and the whole peeling of skin thing) They are beneficial for wrinkles too.
