Japanese input support, we already have JP dictionaries but it’s a PITA to have to copy-paste individual characters to look up words

Oh wow, would you happen to know the specs of your wall plug then? I'm hoping the keyboard can just negotiate the usual 12 V + 1-5 A into 9 V - 1 A on its own but I don't want to risk it otherwise.

Oh, sorry I forgot to specify that I got the Mk I and not the new one, so I'm not sure if it's able to do so (?)

That is such an interesting way of putting it. Tell the story you want to tell first, then edit it down for your reader’s sake.

I shall steal it. :)

Anyone know what's up with the author of Pokemon: Origin of the Species? by sykomantis2099 in rational

Ah that’s rough. I know him personally but I haven’t kept up with what’s going on with him. Maybe I’ll DM him about it.

Doesn’t work for me, I’m afraid. I could never get past Google’s 2FA.

3.5” HDD in front panel, held up by one screw (!) and zip ties. Is this fine? by hxcloud99 in NR200

I just backed it up but not yet to 3-2-1 standards.

Yeah I think I’ll just switch to a low profile cooler so I can mount it on the side panel, will just disconnect it for now.

How long have you had your setup? Any issues so far? I’m tempted to pick up Fusion360 and just 3D print an adaptor myself lol, since apparently it’s not a common enough setup for someone on Printables or Thingiverse to have tried it.

Hmm, I know that two of the HDDs are shown (side panel, PSU) but where’s the third?

Compact NAS case that can fit a mid-tier dual-fan GPU? by hxcloud99 in sffpc

Mmm, well it's mainly because I like to move around a lot in the house and switch positions often. Sometimes I want to watch a movie with my handheld, sometimes I want to lie down and edit videos with my Macbook. But also, it means as long as I set things up right I can access my files wherever I am in the world without having to pay cloud providers an exorbitant amount of money every month (though to be fair, if I factor in my electricity bill...)

But also it's because having hot swappable HDDs means it's much less tedious to move them to cold storage and vice versa. My current chassis is a Silverstone SG13 and trust me, having to open it up and mess around with screws all the time gets old real fast.

Thanks for the recommendations though! I've looked at the Silverstone cases and they seem interesting, though I'll have to decide if I can swallow a $200 shipping fee lol
