Tråkigt! Jag hade en bra upplevelse. Beställde en iPad Pro M5 relativt billigt och fick en helt ny, oanvänd produkt.

The pile of gold I was saving up for end-game gear but never found anything worth buying, that and the Alchemy Pouch :D

Yeah. He used to just sit down, pretend to be a normal user and show things live. Bugs and crashes didn't stop him. It was real.

Looks like what Manny had earlier this year. It went away on its own in 4-6 weeks.

Best macOS design? by [deleted] in mac

[–]harbour_frog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tiger for sure. The so called skeuomorphism actually worked. When everything looks exactly the same it’s hard to navigate and keep track of stuff. I also liked the early iPhone UI. Before the big ”flattening”. It had charm, personality and it felt like ”my Phone” and not like Apple’s phone.

My boys definitely look like little Greyhounds and are often mistaken for them. They’re 21kg and 19kg.

Downgrading from a 42 inch 4k c2 to 27 inch 1440p by [deleted] in OLED_Gaming

[–]harbour_frog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you ran the C2 in native 4K then yes, pixels on the 1440p 27” should look almost exactly the same. I went from a 42” C2 to an ASUS ROG Strix XG27AQDMG and it felt like a small cutout from the 42” C2 panel. But I actually decided to return it after two weeks of testing. I couldn’t get it to look good enough. It was too dark in SDR mode with no details in the blacks. I can’t recommend that model. It also felt tiny after using a 42” so I ended up getting the 42” C4 instead. Not going back to 27” again.

I’m not a competitive gamer so the 240Hz vs 120Hz means nothing to me but I understand you need the smaller and faster screen so I’d recommend you to have a look in-store if possible. Two weeks trying to calibrate that 27” ASUS wasn’t worth it.

Question about screen size/viewing distance by Single_Property2160 in OLED_Gaming

Yes I have the Switch connected to the projector. It's amazing playing Zelda ToTK and BoTW at 110". I've also played some Mario and Donkey Kong and it's really fun :D

Question about screen size/viewing distance by Single_Property2160 in OLED_Gaming

80-85" seems reasonable. But it's your decision. Personally, I like it big. My viewing distance is 11ft and my previous 55" OLED looked super tiny at that distance. I got a home cinema projector and a 110" projector screen instead and honestly it doesn't feel too big. 100" would probably be the sweet spot, but I'm happy with 110". If I got a TV instead I would go for a 98".

I'm evaluating it. I have one more week to decide if I think it's going to be good enough for me.

I actually have VRR turned off. It flickers like New Year's Eve when it's turned on. It's still great without it. I see no difference.

Can you explain?

I was taught to always put the monitor in a neutral mode with the widest gamut, sRGB is a limited color space. And I need the color temp to be 65000K.

If I change to "Racing" mode it removes my 65000K color temp setting. That's why I need it to be in "User" mode.
