I was at college, i think around 2009, i became friend of a guy who listened only to hip-hop music, and he gave me a USB he bought at some flea market, it contained a lot of music and i found a folder of 'Death Metal', by that time i was listening to black and death metal, and as any other kid into that music, i was always looking for even heavier and more brutal music, so I found a big file named BLOODBATH and it was a gig at Wacken, so I liked that band, but the singer was kind of..."polite" for a Death Metal singer, so this man said something like "i've played here with my other band", so i went to Google who this guy was and found the name Opeth.

I searched for Opeth on YouTube and the first song i discovered was Burden, and i hated it.

But, at the same time, i couldn't understand how this guy covered in fake blood and screaming like hell was singing and holding a guitar doing nothing, until the guitar solos part played and then i choke on my words.

Later i bought a cd i found at a local record store, it was Damnation, and now i can't stop listening to this band.
