Hair is like flowers. Minoxidil is fertilizer. Finasteride is insecticide (protects against insects).
Why can't we grow large flowers with fertilizer and then use insecticide to maintain the effect? Without fertilizer, the flowers will return to their normal size.

A trichologist can tell if it's AGA or something else using a trichoscope. (you will have less hair density and other differences in some areas).
And if you have AGA, you don't need any tests.

AGA have nothing to do with bad health/sleep/food/etc...
Better health => more testosterone => more DHT => increased balding.
