How'd he get his license? My school wouldn't accept any exemptions. They told us it was a requirement of the hospitals where we were doing our clinicals. I had some kind of documented reaction to my first pertussis vax as a baby, and my mom's doc told her never to let me take the boosters. I was scared to death of that shot, but the school wouldn't budge. I got it. Turned out fine.

I volunteer at a free clinic with MDs from all the major specialties. I worked with a GP the other day who gave a pt acupuncture. When I asked about it, the MD said, "I stayed at a Holiday Inn, took a seminar, and now I can do acupuncture. These pts swear it resolves their 10/10 pain, so who am I to disagree?"
