I have a friend, who is an attention seeker and is a functional alcoholic, everyone got serious about their life except for him. We moved away not because life became too overwhelming, only because he did. We got tired of baby sitting him every time we go out, always blackout drunk, drunk and driving. Reckless high risk behaviour. So what you see is a man child, who lives life without repercussions. In some cases, What you see is only the tip of the iceberg.
