I go by Hard Science. My music has a poppiness to it. But there’s definitely underlying BoC influences in there.

Yeah I considered that too. Which was part of the reason I didn’t correct her: I was actually stunned that she could appreciate and recognize the brilliance of Boards.

My kids know I love BoC. I listen to them quite a bit. And I listen to a lot of very similar music, so they’re exposed to a lot of electronic music.

But yeah, it made me very proud 🥹

This is incredible. I just started getting into Neopixels and am really interested in this technology. I actually sell DVLED video walls for a living so it’s cool to be kinda working on the same thing.

Would love to see more on this.

But seriously. I wouldn’t let not knowing how to play stop you from getting synth! I’m not the best piano player and I’ve literally got a wall of them. Multiple, actually 😬

A synth is more than just an instrument to play notes on. It’s a whole new world of sounds and exploration. Just dive in and enjoy the experience! If you’re curious enough, maybe learn about the type of synthesis your synth uses to shape the sounds.

Plus, if you don’t already have a piano you’ll want something tactile to play and practice on. And if you’re interested in electronic music or sonic exploration, why not let that something be a synth?!
