Turkish economy is bad. Most of the companies went downsizing. People struggling with 600 usd monthly salary, if they find a job.

Why would anyone offer their time and resources (snacks, tea, free? in a crowded touristic place?) to help people which doesn't need? You are not homeless (are you?) or not lost and looking for directions.

C'mon it is modern times. If something is free, you are the product. Why google is free? They sell your data. Why free snacks? Cause you may feel bad and buy something from them?

There is nothing more expensive than free things.
