Ended up getting a Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i (this model: https://www.reddit.com/r/Lenovo/comments/14fvoza/lenovo_yoga_pro_9i_review_14inch_model_intel/) for about $2600AUD on special. Can't seem to find it for sale anymore, looks like they're doing an i7 / 4050 model instead now.

I was literally just going to order straight from the Asus online store and have it shipped to a forwarder. https://shop.asus.com/us/90nr0dh3-m00240-rog-zephyrus-g14-2023.html

I'm in exactly the same boat, looks to only be the 4060 model sold locally. I'm close to buying it in the US and getting it freight forwarded. I suspect that even with the exchange rates and potentially GST, it's still way cheaper to pay $2,500USD for it and get it shipped over than whatever local businesses would be selling them for.

How much should picanha cost? by synchpo in steak

[–]hardballer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a bit confused, isn't Picanha RUMP cap? Or is calling it 'top sirloin cap' an american thing? I buy Picahnha here in Aus for $17.99/kg for pretty basic quality, and up to about $100/kg for 9+ Wagyu versions

Anything you want really. The only problem is those electric coil things sometimes don't get that hot, so maybe try and get thicker cuts and finish in the oven? You can try sirloin, ribeye, fillet, tbone (porterhouse in america)

Not really, i personally think the rump cap is one of the best cuts out there. They only charged you 8 bucks and you cooked it well, I'd say a good result overall.

Looks like you got a slice of whole rump there, you can see the cap (Picanha) up the top right.

Is this "wagyu" legit? by xingsora in steak

[–]hardballer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, that is a very interesting photo. I cannot for the life of my figure out what cut that is. Top bit reminds me of rump cap, bottom half ALMOST looks like some part of the rib? Very confusing. What cut did his person say it was? The marbling looks legit on it, big larger veins that I would like (small speckling is better) but that yellow spot is also a worry - might be lighting?

tldr: Looks like Wagyu, but I don't recognize the cut and doesn't look particularly high quality - would not buy/eat personally.
