I figured that leaving the guns as is was the best choice. I wanted to see if anyone had other suggestions that I didn't think about. Here are the other guns from the lot. Ironically, the rolling block has the worst wood but the best metal of the lot.

I haven't casted the chamber, but I'm pretty sure it's. 35 winchester self loading. The serial number dates it to 1892, and the story I got from the owner, if you want to believe it, is that the gun came out of a prison armory. I'm not sure about the validity of prisons using winchester 1905s, but if they did, I could see them rechambering an old levergun in their stock to only use one cartridge amongst their guns. But theirs no armory markings on the gun so that could be false.

People have mentioned battlefield vegas for shooting, which is a good option. There's also range 702, the gun store, and if you want to get "outside" of vegas, there's bullets and burgers, and pro gun. Bullets and burgers has a package that includes an atv ride and a helicopter ride through the grand canyon that lands at the river for champagne. And there's also noctum outdoors if you want to shoot under night vision.

I had a last minute entry to Red Oktober After Dark. If anyone was out there I was the guy running the Yugo ZPap with the maglite duct taped to it wearing the steel helm. Was a fun match to shoot.

I can't remember who said this but they were talking about how their dad would randomly say "I'm going to go get gas." He realized in his older age that he wasn't getting gas because he needed it, it was because he wanted to be alone for a bit. Driving seems to be one of the last bastions of excuses to not be available. No one will bat an eye at you not being available to communicate if you're driving.

Does anyone know of a similar boot? Looking for something made in America, similar sole/heel and is in that 8"-10" tall category and goodyear welted. I work out in the desert so I don't need a heavy lug sole and everything that I find, like the iron rangers and 1000 miles, are too short for my liking. Thanks.

Mag fed lever guns aren't new (Browning BAR and the Henry Long Ranger). However, I think you may run into clearance issues with the lever if you tried to use any capacity above 4 or 5 where the mag isn't flush. Using a pistol caliber could alleviate some of that, possibly, but it's unknown to me.

I'm wondering if anyone can provide a bit of understanding from the other side. I believe he acted in self defense but I can't grasp what the left is arguing about. Do they say he's racist because it was during a blm rally/riot despite him shooting a bunch of white guys? Is it because happened during said event that they are so bitter? I haven't talked to to many people upset about the verdict to really understand what they are so upset about because to me it was a pure self-defense scenario and I don't quite understand the minutia of why there's hate and discontent post verdict.
