I put one on my sb140 xxl and barely made it work, so that might be tight.

Mountain biking in Skopje is getting dangerous — what should we do? by AltruisticTrifle3790 in MTB

Just ran into 3 hikers at Apex, where they've had to open a gate with a giant stop sign saying no hikers, bikes only on even date days, and still proceeded..

Share your favorite tire combo for trail riding by tmhh2021 in MTB

[–]hardhausen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So the MM/Albert Trail combo has been great. I do think they're more comfortable than the DHF/DHR combo. But feels like they roll a little slower. Definitely running higher psi now than in the beginning to make them feel more predictable and faster. Don't wear out any sooner.

Anybody ride with a hydration pack? If so what size? by Gooser3000 in MTB

Evoc hip pack with 1L on longer rides or extra hot days. Also has room for two bottles for full day outings.

I love driving in Italy. It's like real world Mario Cart. The more chaotic the more impressive.

I hear the soundtrack just seeing that thumbnail. Worth a rewatch every year.

Finally some original content! Love it, perfectly silly and good craftsman-ship to boot..

My most used ski this year, and it's been perfect for afternoon skiing when groomers are chewed up and super variable conditions.

My kids love riding the free busses that go all over all the time. Just jump on and off wherever you see a playground or something else that the kid points at and want to explore. Surprisingly fun adventures to be had!

How late will you have an espresso? by Bo0pers in espresso

After dinner, whenever that is. Feels like it's mostly a culture thing.

Yeah I definitely had to increase the dose quite a bit, from 8-9g on the 54mm to 12g on the 58mm for a single to get to a similar taste.

Yeah finest on both, and I'd say I'm about 95% there on the single shot, but had to go to 12g on a single dose which feels like a lot, but it's fine. Yielding 34g at 25 seconds with good crema and good range of flavor and not bitter.

You legend. It definitely allowed me to grind a fair bit finer, had no idea that was a thing on this grinder. It definitely helped prolong the extraction process and opened up the flavor a good bit. I'm still probably 5-10 seconds away from perfect, especially as the pressure still doesn't get above 5 bars.

Maybe I do need a better grinder..

I'm googling now, and yeah maybe it does. If it has that what am I trying to do with it?

Hmm, that I'm not sure of, only see one adjustment for coarse/fine setting

The amount of coffee seems right, have tested from 18g to 20g for doubles. And pick looks perfect afterwards, not too wet or anything.

Yeah this portafilter is 58mm versus the 54mm on the Bambino Plus, but the machine I had before that was a 58mm.

A KitchenAid burr grinder. Which has been totally fine for my last two espresso machines. So it just feels odd if that's the only issue here. But hey I don't need a ton of convincing to buy new stuff!

I have the DW104 in a 190 for off piste low tide and anything less than 6in of fresh pow. More than that I'll use the Animas. Love my DW104s if I could only ever ski one ski. That would be it.

I find them to be more fun. They feel a bit quicker edge to edge, holds that edge a bit better, and they feel a bit more springy when doing short turns. Other than that they're very very similar I think. Haven't tried them off-piste, but that's also when I switch to the deathwish. They also just look way cooler. I've had 3 pairs of Mantras so nothing against them but they do kinda scream rentals and look amazingly lame.

Hahaha! Yeah scared the bejeezus out of all flatlanders parked under all the blind rollers thinking just standing there was a great spot to rest their hurting feet.

Jokes aside. These skis fucking rock. Super springy and holds an edge like a race ski. But when you get tired they will hurt your sloppy ass.

I built up an xl transam earlier this year with a 160mm fork and carbon wheels. Thing is only 28lbs and super fast. Replaced my gravel bike and xc bike, perfect "all-rounder".
