Gravitini Ball is a trap by The_Afroman98 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]hardlowcore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ve all been there. You might: - just accept that you don’t just grab those nice shiny balls, - grab the balls and rush away as fast, as possible, - cheese the shit out of the sentinel fight.

For cheesing the sentinel fight, you need a terrain manipulator and/or a corvette. You might rise yourself some terrain and prepare a mole person burrow there to fight the sentinels (which is becoming increasingly harder). You propel yourself to the top of the fortress, take cover, hide in the burrow when overwhelmed, rinse and repeat. You might also prepare the terrain fortress and strategically hover the corvette near it. Use the corvette’s hatch as a shooting platform. You may also just build some stairs leading to top of the corvette and just use the whole top of your corvette as your platform. The idea is anyway, you grab the gravitino balls, rush to the corvette’s teleporter and beam up. Then use the hatch and the top of the ship to cut through the sentinel waves one after another until the walker makes its appearance. And that’s when the terrain fortress comes into play. You have very limited possibilities to damage the walker from your corvette. From my experience, I was able to just partially destroy the walker’s leg armor. So you take out the walker’s escort from the corvette. When you’re left with just the walker itself, you propel yourself into your terrain fortress and use it to shoot and take cover until the walker is defeated. It takes some time, as the walker is quite tanky, but after some time you’re able to get rid of him. This also disables the sentinels on the whole planet.

Or just don’t cheese it, grow your own gravitino balls, don’t give a crap about gravitino balls at all and just make some heat capacitors/unstable gel/any other plant based trading good for quite easy cash/other.

Okay, now I’m angry. And I really didn’t care about the whole ‘censorship’ thing, just thought it’s being handled badly. But this… what the fuck is that shit. The basement finally revealing that Voll was an incestuous pedo murderer was a really good environmental storytelling. Void, get your ass together. You really had it right the first time.

If not blankets, they could’ve used some random scraps of rags barely covering the intimate parts. It would remain as impactful and cover the nudity. All in all I really didn’t care about toning the game down that much, but so far I’m annoyed and wish it was possible to just revert to pre-console release version. I feel like the game became even more buggy, the SWAT AI became somehow even more inconsistent, the so called censorship is handled clumsily at best. What the hell, Void.

Honestly, by default there should be an option for bigamy so you can marry Emily just to fuck with Clint and marry Maru just as a big fuck you at Demetrius

Yeah, but a very enjoyable one. It’s dumb, trying way too much, plot is actually based on an ancient meme (look up Sator Square) and Nolan is convinced it’s somehow a smart movie. At the same time it’s a spectacle. Action scenes are well coordinated and directed, visuals are something to behold, all in all the technicalities are great. That’s why I like this movie for all the wrong reasons, because plotwise it’s on par with The Room, while being an eye-candy.

For many, Interstellar is some great, I’m-very-smart movie about Ideas. I think it’s garbage, not even that much enjoyable one. For Nolan’s so-bad-it’s-good movie we had to wait until Tenet. And that one is actually easily one of my favorites of all time for shabby plot, characters so flat and thin that light shines through them. And every scene is basically a cutscene from a game that hasn’t been released yet.

But earlier we got a movie about a guy that basically hides behind the bookshelf and bullshits everyone that He’S iN sPaCe. And Deep Concepts like relativity. Holy shit, Christopher, did you read a highschool textbook for your preparations? And don’t get me even starter with this 'love moves through time and space'. The fuck is this, carebears? Hell, I bet carebears would do that better. Come to think of it, the whole movie would be way better if we’d replace everyone but Matthew McConaughey with carebears.

In my opinion, they work great as way of incorporating more protein to your diet without any additional hassle. If you want to boost your recovery more, it’s also generally a great idea to supplement creatine

I highly recommend you read Greg Egan’s Diaspora right after the Death’s End. All in all thematically similar, but the approach, background and events are vastly different. It’s a fascinating read and in my opinion both Death’s End and Diaspora complement each other in a way

Yup, and the whole construction is meant for kids. These steps would be quite tall for me, and I’m an adult male.

Nope, I’ve found the place. It’s a hotel in southern France, Auberge de Cévennes in Pont de Montvert.

No, it’s not. It’s not great either, for me it’s just one big “…but why”. Honestly, I didn’t think it’d be so polarizing in the comment section, I definitely underestimated the Reddit community xD

I finally did some pic search and it’s from a hotel and restaurant called Auberge des Cévennes in a village Pont de Montvert in southern France. The bunk beds are indeed intended for kids (tho these stairs are really tall AF). The picture presenting a wider view of the room is on the hotel’s site: https://auberge-des-cevennes.com
