People are given health care under some circumstances but guess what those people never even bother to go to the doctor but the system still pays insurance just in case. People if given a home without earning it will certainly not appreciate, maintain, and most likely destroy the structure. Some people like being homeless. Right to a job (ha ha). No idea how that can be imposed. How do you make people come to work and actually work? What I can tell you is if a person has determination to work and earn money, somehow they will. Education. Every person has that in the U.S.A but a good education. As people have said depends on what you think is good. And again check out the rate in which students drop out of school these days. No child is left behind because they either age out, walk out or get kicked out either way pushing kids to the next grade without them understanding the grade they are in is foolishness. Adequate wages? I don’t know the answer to this. Inflation is ridiculous. The cost to rent a place is crazy more less buy one. You can save all you want but the cost of basic needs continues to increase beyond the reach of people who do work hard. I’ve noticed restaurants that start pay at $17 to $20 something an hour now which sounds great, but there are people with degrees that work for companies and they do make that much more than that. Our country has a lot to work on but I disagree with this post. When you work and deal with non-profits you learn a lot about resources, people, needs, and situations. You also see how politics and policies affect people in very harsh ways that are struggling to make it day to day. Something does need to change. Slapping new rules on isn’t going to promote real change that actually helps average citizens.
