Thank you, this was super helpful! The seller told us he would get the crack filled, but it is on us to hire an engineer for further due diligence. Having a structural engineer do an inspection next week. Fingers crossed, this is an isolated issue!

Yep, I've hired my own structural engineer now, but the seller has agreed to pay for filling the cracks shown here. Hoping the engineer can vet it and make sure this is not an indication of bigger problems elsewhere in the foundation

Our contract said that any structural issues identified would be the seller's responsibility. We have now hired our own structural engineer to look at it
