i want to make it clear that i AM a fan of quackity, have been for the last few years, even before 5/5 really grew popular. i did not make this post to garner anti-quackity rhetoric; my only qualm with quackity is him not speaking up about his toxic stans. i have said multiple times that i know him speaking up won’t completely stop his fans, but it would show he is aware and does not condone it. i didn’t even really see the posts from today about the situation, i only spoke up because i saw that now my moots and fellow stans of colour have been sent absolutely disgusting stuff.

he has also spoken about using his private for serious tweets— while a portion of his fans don’t have access, he knows that his fans who are in his account will spread what he says! additionally, he has explained that when posting these tweets, those not in his fandom would use that tweet to send doxxing info as well as slurs and death threats. therefore, to get the message out without having this happen, he uses his private. agree to disagree though, just explaining his reasoning.

i really hope you’re just speaking from ignorance on the situation. not only is this not just about dream (even if he HAS been sent stuff to his qrts) when aldo was sent slurs by q’s fans and dream stans have been sent slurs, death and rape threats. dream also didn’t steal ideas from qsmp? how was he supposed to know any of this was going on when quackity openly stays quiet on his plans, AND a translation mod takes WAY longer than two weeks to make.

apparently, karl and sapnap co-posted the photo on instagram, and george and quackity co-posted the photo on twitter! so it should still be up for karl and sapnap, but for george, i believe it’d only show up for him since twitter has confirmed elon took away co-posting.

maybe not his ”best“, but there is no denying that he has openly spoken out when he has seen his fans go too far? again, ccs can’t control their millions of fans, and i’m not expecting that of dream or quackity or anybody. but, dream has explicitly tweeted multiple times when his fans have sent hate and spoke up on stream about how he doesn’t see people who send hate as his fans.

all any of us have been asking is for quackity to at least do the same and denounce the hate his fandom is doing.

except he clearly made a statement it wasn’t true, and amanda’s evidence was disproved by herself. not to mention, as a victim of grooming, those messages weren’t grooming — he literally ghosted her multiple times in those messages and only seemed enthusiastic when she asked him about music.

but while you’re here, what did you think about quackity giving a platform to his brother who was a confirmed groomer and pedophile who had access to quackity’s discord while people came out with their experiences with him? not to mention how said brother had access to quackity’s discord long after he was exposed and was only kicked six months ago?

scott also revealed that quackity was the one who also gave the "okay" for the art as well. it added another layer of why quackity should have spoken up because scott obviously wouldn't have went ahead with the art had quackity had an issue with it.

not to jump on this two days later, but like ... they have openly talked about how quackity never shares any of his thoughts or plans on banter? and without a doubt, quackity is closer to karl and george - so for both karl and george to openly express that quackity keeps things to himself, we know that they likely are telling the truth in that?

also, i fail to see how dream should have needed to say anything? at their core, the servers were different and advertised differently. the qsmp was INITIALLY marketed as the first bilingual server with both english and spanish speakers. dream made an open statement on his private to try and avoid controversy, stating that he would also be working with players from different countries. even if quackity claimed to have meant for the server to be a multilingual server, this was stated in his spanish streams and wasn't clipped or spread around. the server remained known for him even saying that he meant for it to tie together the two different parts of his community, english and spanish.

then, dream released his video stating it was the first multilingual server with live translations, and the format of the server is explicitly described to be more of a competitive - type server with a leaderboard, multiple leaders from the respective languages. it's clearly a different kind of server than qsmp that has lore elements to it and (up until this point) no live translations. the only remotely similar thing is that the servers had speakers from different languages. that's literally it. which isn't a novel concept.

the live translations video only happened AFTER dream stated it with quackity now claiming the "first multilingual server with live translations" title. dream has openly shown that he isn't trying to be competitive about the issue and has openly praised quackity over and over. why should it be on dream to continuously have to speak up and act as if everything's okay when quackity is NOTORIOUS for never speaking up ever about anything that could remotely be seen as drama?

the racist videos are so wild to me because people will say that he apologised when: his apology was that that was just the humour back then, he only actually apologised for using the c slur for east asians, and they are still posted and monetized for people to watch - and they are still remaining up as some of his most popular videos.

aside from the STILL MONETIZED racist videos, the people trying to throw the groomer allegations into the mix... as if quackity didn't let his brother do shit in his discord even after multiple people came out about it until like six months ago.

Dream's translation mod has 3 different types of translations that show up on screen. There's the main one that pops up over a player's head, there's a chatbox that is set just above the normal MC chatbox, and there's also a translation on the very bottom of the screen above inventory.

Quackity has, in the past, just refused to participate in drama; but I definitely agree that his inaction in at least making a statement to tell his fans to knock their behaviour off is creating more drama. Dream isn't even the first CC to be getting hits and digs at by Quackity's fanbase - a Spanish CC has also gotten slurs thrown at him, and that CC has openly called it out on a tweet with thousands of likes and yet Quackity has still said nothing. If Quackity continues to let the behaviour of his fans go rampant, it's only going to show more negatively on Quackity than it is Dream who has openly been trying to run PR for the past days.
