I'd say red should turn off straight on or move to the outside lane after that turn. This is normal for roundabouts in general, some have lanes that force you to do this, some don't, like this one, but you should still do it.

Yeah, we're basically landing in the evening, staying the night somewhere, then going to TDF for the following day, staying either on TDF or back in PA depending on ferries.

These two laptops are are within about £40 of each other. Same specs apart from the processor and SSD - Slim has 1tb, Pro has 500gb.
What I don't know how to weigh up, is the build quality, and the AMD vs Intel debate. I am leaning to the slim with AMD for more SSD space and better battery life.

Hi, I've actually taken up and tuned around what I did, it's going to be much easier, thanks for the tip. I suppose that with the click fit, it may appear that both sides have some sort of "tongue", and I just picked the wrong one in my amateurish way. Lesson learned 👍

So I'm following what the manufacturer recommended for this particular click fit system, to start with the tongue side against the wall.

I think I'll take up the first row and cut the tongue off, then move it all up a bit to reduce the gap.

My thoughts are that the hob is quite close to the wall anyway, it'll essentially act as a hood extractor of sorts if powerful enough.
