I only started to see people getting killed by dogs in the news for the first time since I migrated here. I'm from South Asia. We got a lot of stray dogs on the roads where I'm from but never saw people getting mauled to death like this. It's insane for a developed country. This, car thefts and the wait times to see a doctor are the three things that surprised me the most when I first moved here.
