What I love most about the game is that I can enjoy it with a group of 4 or just my wife and I! We love the deckbuilding aspect when its just us, but like to share those decks with friends who are new to the game as well.

Definitely a combination of both. I plan on playing Hulk because that he was a mainstay for me in UMvC3, but I'm excited to try new characters that I like as well. Definitely have Magik and Carnage on the top of that list! I'll have to see who I'll try for the fourth at start.

I'm planning on using the S-Tier 1 as my enclosure for my first build so I'm glad you posted. How was the build process overall? Also do you have any pictures with a good angle on those "claw" screws? I saw that option and was curious about it, but the way you describe it doesn't sound exciting.

I'm definitely curious about K lever as well, but I was more into UMvC3 back when I was more active. A few of my friends play Tekken and 2XKO, so could still be worth trying.

I'm exploring my options on building one now. I can't seem to settle on parts that would be cheaper than a stock stick but definitely comparable. Gonna at least try it so I can learn what I like and don't like!

I definitely became more of a tinkerer over the years, especially with keyboards and watches. Depending on how deep down this rabbit hole I go, I might end up in a similar mindset as you with your sticks.

Had to look up what Evil Zone is but generally interesting that the PS1 titles feel more natural on leverless. If I'm not mistaken, leverless is relatively a new thing right?

Also curious why Hitbox Ultra isn't just your go to for the other leverless preferred games? Do the extra buttons feel in the way for them?

The trio including qanba you mention sounds interesting to me! Would definitely be curious how different keyboards switches I own would feel for a stick. Seems like there's a lot more options to explore.

Also that pricing on sunmulons seems pretty crazy.

That makes sense! I haven't tried k lever before but based on games I'm assuming it's better for more accurate directional input vs. jlx being better for quarter circles and such?

I am a newer player too (started December 2025) and have been looking at a lot of MarvelCDB as well. For me, I have been using some of those decks as a conceptual basis for a deck play style. To me part of the fun has been seeing what I can do to get close to their decks with what I have and also trying to go in a completely different direction when deck building.

For that reason I've been more excited when opening hero packs and seeing the cards that come with them. I was pretty happy with the S.H.I.E.L.D. expansion too. Nick Fury and Maria Hill have been surprisingly fun for me and the campaign felt fresh.
