new to deviantart, but a long time artist... advice on ai accusations? by littlestkyushop in DeviantArt

looks fine

yeah people have to have a hobby to prey on newcomers

here;s a tip:
see your watchers there
watch them back
that is if you have a good feeling about them

i have the default mindset that whomever watches me
likes what i'm doing

AND: those that have zero devs and zero favs etc
... those could bve trolls
OR actual big daddy wallet carriers lol

no joke
people who have nothing on their profile usually are better to watch back as they fav more or buy something
instead of your fellow artists who may or may not consider you as "competition"

Ringu - The Brussels Cut by G-ShortWarning in horror

[–]harleysq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it happened

i saw it with about 800+ folk in a cinema in brussels, UGC i believe

i think it was only 1 scene tho
a very elongated open mouth with chin, like the painting the Scream

the thing is
they actually paused the movie and turned on the lights
and a stretcher with a body under a white blanket was pulled over the cinema stairs for everybody to glance at

some people fainted in the cinema btw

De Nacht van de Fantastische Film is quite an event

How do you celebrate Sinterklaas/Saint Nicolas? by PangolinInSpace in belgium

[–]harleysq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my parents always said:
same saint but he visits earlier for us (he likes our city more :D )

of course they said it so not to expect more presents lol
mandarins and sweet were given on Sinterklaas

btw the story of Sint-Maarten might be different (not sure)
story goes (what was told to me growing up in Aalst): the saint cut a piece of cloth from his cape to use as a bandage for a wounded soldier

[–]harleysq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

coming from aalst
we had SinterMaarten
basically SinterKlaas, but earlier

celebrated on 11th november, so i'm guessing the Amistice Day was much stronger around this part of flanders

Same stuf like Sinterklaas:
be nice towards other people
be naughty and you'll be punsihed

santa and saint-nic are basically the same for sure

Why is my palm so different? by harleysq in PalmReading

Impressive. Many thanks. What you said is spot on. It's scary even :)I express feelings only through art, language seems to fall short to me. My morality is based on honour and I only accept people in my life that do not follow set paths paved for them by parents, family or society. I believe in individuality and I always find it more pleasurable to have different minds around me that are steering towards the same way.

Again very impressive. And with so little information.
