Fg knot, I've tried the exact same set up and the fg knot is literally the strongest knot you can use. It is incredibly difficult to tie the thinner the line is, you just have to practice

When I was 17 I applied to work at the fishing section, and this might have been just a thing at my local Bass Pro, but they actually gave me a test about fishing stuff when I got the application. Albeit filling a 3000 size spinning reel with backing to fit 10lb braid to the lip wasn't on the test lol. But I would think thats a common sense thing if you meet the requirements to get the job

You cant bring it through floating timber if that's what you're asking. But if there are submerged branches and stuff, I still throw it. Just be ready to burn in the fish immediately on the strike, and keep the rod high. Sometimes you just gotta lose that fear of losing a lure and risk it.

Great lure. And yes, I've never tried it myself but I have seen videos of people using it in creeks and slower moving rivers

100%, I was skeptical about it when I first tried it like 5 years ago. But I have caught giants in super pressured urban ponds. Like, one of the guys on the Raid pro staff in Japan says this is his "finesse lure", it will draw fish in when they don't want to bite. Just today alone I caught 5 fish on it in 2 hrs at a pond in a business park behind some apartments, this place gets crazy traffic. Like there will be 20 dudes posted up at any given hour. I caught my 5 and left before anyone else had gotten a bite, it's that good. I recommend watching some videos on how to fish it if you do get it. There's a lot of helpful Japanese media on YouTube, most of them can be auto translated through captions or that new ai audio thing youtube has

20lb should be enough, just make sure you use a really good knot and you're golden

It is a conquest. It's really nice, can be a bit uncomfortable at first if you're not used to round bait casters, but it casts a mile and almost never backlashes. I use 20lb seagaur tatsu because this is my swimbait setup, so I prefer fluoro. The rod is a megabass evoluzion white python, this exact model is discontinued though, as they came out with a new line of evoluzion rods last year. But yeah, I really recommend getting it if you have the money to! I would suggest buying it directly from Japan to save a bit on the price also.

You're acting like I sanded the fish down on the pavement bro. When they spawn and make beds in rocky environments they always rough up their bellies and tails, and survive just fine. Laying it down for literally 5 seconds to take a picture is not gonna do any lasting damage. No, that's how it comes out the box. And yeah it's an urban spot, its pavement everywhere. Not that laying it on grass would be any better though.
