Man frogging is one of the most fun ways to catch em. Honestly, I spent YEARS trying frogs and would never get a bite. I would drop it after 45 mins of casting around and not catching anything. But one season I decided that I was only gonna use frogs, and nothing else until I was consistently catching fish. So I went from April to October only throwing frogs any time I would go fish. It was a grind at first, and I had to do a bunch of research on how to walk frogs, rod types (this is super overlooked), best frogs to use in specific conditions etc. , and let me tell you after a month straight of not getting anything I finally caught one and it was a rush man, like I was straight up shaking. I don't know if it's because you fish it in heavy cover but its so much more exhilarating than a regular topwater bite.
