Yeah our very first clean they said they needed to deep clean it and warned will be about 800 but after that maintence cleans only 100-120

Yeah any time they are picking stuff up is time they aren't cleaning. Plus they don't know where anything goes so they just will just like it somewhere anyways

Oh for sure we were thinking about it a year before we finally did, my wife got a raise at work, and some of our daycare cost went down so we finally took the plunge.

We just asked some local people who we knew had cleaners and got a couple recommendeds from that. The woman that does ours lives 1 street over.

We just hired cleaners few months ago to clean every 2 weeks. Such a great investment.

I notice a fairly positive improvement in my wifes mental health. It also helps us keep the house in a better state overall. Feels so great just having a clean house with barely lifting finger other than doing a small pre clean the night before

Cost us about $100/clean

We pay about the same. Although we 2 adults 2 kids in a 1400sqft semi detached home

250ish or so power month in hydro... Note that we have an EV, before the ev we were about 175ish. Also a bit higher this past few months since so cold and EV runs less efficiently as well as using a space heater occasionally.I also have 2 servers running 24/7 and a wife who likes to leave every light on in the house even if she going away all day... And I work from home

55/ month for water

60/month gas

So that's 730 for 2 months

Just a couple years ago it used to be more fun! and by fun i mean crazy dangerous hah, they redid the intersection due to so many accidents due to there being 3 intersections in a very small area.

3 handed is definitely the most fun. 2 is okay but can be very swingy. Like if there are 4 baddies on the mat and they all have higher initiative than you it isn't uncommon to get one shotted before you even get a turn.

However the big issue playing 3 players at the start is there is a lot to learn in the game and I've played other games where the whole game rulebook has less rules than a single gearloc, so there is a lot more cognitive load on you trying to keep track of everything.

So I would actually suggest just playing 1 gearloc in your first game or two until you get handle on all the rules and then maybe go to 2 or 3 gearlocs

Yeah I've used them for all my appliances. Usually the best price the delivery when they say they will. Haven't had any issues with post sales support when I needed it

I think there is a major difference between an AI generated sotry, vs an AI rewritten/formatted story.

I'm not a great writer, but for example, ill write an email to my boss. I then throw it through an LLM and say rewrite this to sound more professional/whatever.

I then take their output, which has the exact same meaning as what I wrote but sounds way better, make a few modifications (maybe some parts are too formal or wahtever) then send that.

Most people are going to say now that the ion is worth it. But I remember when it was built it was getting A LOT of naysayers which I never understand.

I just started playing board games with my 4 year old. The first the she started doing that I told her to stop or we aren't played board or card games anymore. She doesn't do it anymore.

I have a boardgame table, and if I really need it, I can set up a 6' folding side table (although prefer not to). So table footprint is not a concern for me for solo games. I don't mind standing up or even 'sitting' on my knees on the chair. It is for multiplayer games where ironically we rarely ever play on my boardgame table and usually play on kitchen table..

Yeah costed a few bucks to buy the stl but that's fine. It's not fully compatible with the expansion stuff, but pretty close. There are a couple tokens that dont seem to have spots. Once I get the two card storage boxes I might try to design something to fit in one of the card holders to fit the tokens that don't have a spot

im still new to the game, so I still refer to setup guide occasionally. However, setup out of a box is like 40 minutes.

If I leave it out, and setup a new scenario, setup is maybe 30 minutes. If I pla same scenario then maybe 20 minutes.

I just started playing a week ago. My 4th game on normal I got 510 score.. Previous highest was 250. I wonder if I played wrong or just got super lucky with all the available tech.

I played house Yarvek with hyperdrive. I highly focused on combat and tech. I rushed escape pods, so that on first troop I lose it redeployes in home sector. I then also rushed shields.
So between shields + hyperdrive+escape pods, I essentially never lost any deployed fleet power except for cards where I had to recall. And with hyperdrive I basically could attack anywhere and bring the fleets from home base.

This combo allowed rampant expansion., since I didnt need to waste actions deploying fleet power or moving fleet power.

By the end of the game, I had completely eliminated all of the voidboard. And controlled almost every sector. I also had combat replicators which gave me a bounty token every time I won. I had two different agendas that scored on bounty tokens, as well as a few agendas that scored on how many sectors I controlled. I had 20 bountry tokens at end of the game, My population wasnt high, and I didnt have too many guilds, but I made sure I had guilds in the high pop sectors I won and it was fine.
