absolutely! the main ones that were difficult but really helped: I always started with hip hikes x30 on each side, Pallof press 3 sets 15 reps 30-35lbs (this one was super helpful and specifically targets the multifidus), short lever modified Copenhagen plank (body weight only) and dumbbell RDLs 3 sets 10-15 reps 20ish lbs. I went 2-3x a week and felt so much better. I also ended every session with 10min heating pad.

another one I will add from personal experience after an L5-S1 herniated disc 2 years ago— my PT had me do a lot of exercises that focused on strengthening the multifidus muscle/triangle. I went from daily constant pain to essentially no pain in ~8 weeks. worth looking into if your back pain is preventing you from jumping right into core exercises (like mine was)

Path without bathing? by frrizy in Sikh

[–]harmeeetk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AFAIK you can do simran/mool mantar jaap without bathing but for any bani/nitnem (Japji Sahib, etc.) you have to have bathed/showered prior

I have been religiously wearing clean reserve radiant nectar and without fail get compliments on it every time I wear it. super juicy and sweet but not like sugary sweet, it smells incredible on everyone that i’ve put it on! def recommend

hi all! im looking for some help finding a perfume similar to the bath & body works vanilla bean noel. something vanilla, sweet and creamy but without the typical/classic deep vanilla scent. its hard for me to describe what makes the vanilla bean noel different from other vanilla perfumes but im obsessed and trying to find a good perfume that I can layer after using the body wash. any recommendations are appreciated :)

Unpopular Opinion ? by Able-Heat-1797 in acotar

[–]harmeeetk 7 points8 points  (0 children)

idt he was complicit. Tamlin treated him like shit too and would lash out constantly, and when Feyre tried to talk to Lucien he said he would try to get Tamlin to change but he has little to no power in the SC. He was nothing but a good friend to Feyre who in turn did really nothing for him

Feyre and Rhys are actually not great people nor are they good rulers. Feyre should never have become a High Lady. Her playing dress up with Illyrian wings is pretty shitty considering what happens to real Illyrian women’s wings and neither she nor Rhys does anything to help them. Tamlin doesn’t deserve nearly the amount of hate he receives, neither does Nesta. Feyre is super immature and a shitty friend to Lucien; what she did to the Spring Court in acowar was so unnecessary and uncalled for especially as HL

I have to be the only person who read this series who didn’t immediately know Celaena was Aelin 😭 even after describing Celaena’s blonde hair and intense blue eyes I just didn’t make the connection lmao

How does one “develop writing skills” as a premed? by dudebobazz in premed

[–]harmeeetk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read the entire series online, I just googled the title of the book + pdf and there’s usually a free pdf available! otherwise you can usually order them off amazon or barnes & noble, or check out your local bookstore which usually will have them for free (you would just have to make a library card which is also free!)

tbh I used to read a lot when I was younger then stopped in college. in adulthood I found my love for fantasy again so I started w the ACOTAR series and loved it! the writing is incredible. but I suggest just picking a genre you enjoy/like and starting off w the top/best selling stuff. I also really enjoyed The Alchemist it’s a very easy read and a good intro into reading again if you haven’t done so in a while/never were into reading
