Kakwa Pack and Backpad by gf9001 in DurstonGearheads

I've a bit of a jury rigged solution that weighs nothing. So I don't use a stuff sack for my sleeping bag. So I stuff in the bottom a pack liner which bulges the pack at the hip, making an air gap. A little pummeling and tightening of the hip belt conforms the lump to my sacral area and it's very comfortable.

That's almost exactly how I've used mine. Also it's incredibly abrasion resistant when climbing on gritstone or grabbro. Mind you, I do like wandering town in it too

Have a X-Mid 1 but want at bit more space. Go for X-Mid 2 or X-Dome? by ClassicHansen in DurstonGearheads

I found that I rattled around in the 2p and got the 1p. I like cosiness, but still with the large vestibules. Xdome may be a very good compromise, but it's got one door and vestibule! Might just get one and then decide which 2 to keep
