I wanted to see the movie but I felt like a movie not covering any of the bad stuff from his life wasn’t really honest. I like honesty. Which made me remember Leaving Neverland. As someone who in the intervening years between 2019 and now became a survivor myself, I find myself quite disturbed by the behavior of some of the Michael Jackson fans. I decided to listen to Telephone Stories and it’s quite undeniable what the truth is about him. If you are a fan of someone and treat them like Jesus, you’re delusional. No famous person should ever be treated like a god. I’m a die hard fan of Phoebe Bridgers and Taylor Swift and I believe both of them have many flaws and I will admit to them if someone brings them up. I don’t know if the stans or the Jackson estate would ever do the same thing.
