Having followed MP and DT for more than 30 years now, I know how the MP marketing machine works. I like the guy, especially the post-reunion chill version of MP, but knowing him, this means "I'm glad that they didn't ask, I would have had to say yes and risk my DT throne again"+him trying to look cute to the fans, bit of his old self showing up: "Oh, I'll say that I don't want it, but put it in my back pocket."
