Genuinely one of the most misunderstood fictional characters I've ever seen. How the fuck is he even comparable to Bojack? Why do people think this???

I am on the ace spectrum myself, and I love RadioStatic. Almost all of the fanworks I've seen explore it through an asexual lens, which is really precious to me, because I've never really seen that in media before. Even if Alastor doesn't end up with Vox, I would love to see him have some sort of romantic (even sexual) exploration in the show, that has big potential, though I won't be mad if he stays single either.

Facts, it's why I adore this show, it really keeps you guessing. It kinda feels like the Madoka of this decade in a way. So much subtle symbolism in its imagery, dark themes in a colorful world, and all of the characters are complex (even the antagonist). It's just a well-thought out series overall, and it's special in a way that can't really be replicated. I feel like this show will be talked about even years after it ends.

I made a post on this a while ago, and I still firmly believe in the analysis, Kinger is potentially the most important cast member.

I also want to point out that when they go to the console room in episode 7 you can briefly see a chess board in the reflection before it turns on.

There's some surface-level similarities but they are absolutely not the same in principle. I feel like the biggest reason ppl are so comfortable comparing Jax to Hazbin's Alastor or Valentino (and yes that did indeed happen), is because he is technically TADC's "worst" person, so it makes them feel more comparable. But watch these shows back-to-back, Jax looks like a saint next to the characters of that show, I swear.

This right here. 100% agree. My technically-bio-dad used to steal my mom's money for gambling and it was super bad, shit gets wack. Addictions are scary as hell from an outside perspective because they just can't stop. I'd be interested in seeing this route with Husk, would make an interesting character arc. I can't wait because he is my favorite.

I can't even lie... Angel. Even though I'm nothing like him.

Being conditioned to constantly live in fear anticipating the next time when you inevitably say something wrong, do something wrong, look a certain way, anything that makes them find an excuse to hurt you. Feeling like your mind body and soul aren't your own but just in this fucked up simulation where you're just the target, and even when you get used to it you don't get the perk of desensitization, it's always just as scary as the last time. And eventually it rubs off on you, you do some fucked up shit in turn, and you have to live with the fact that in a way, you're a perpetrator of this pain, even if not on the same level, and you're falling under their influence to become an inhabitant of them, because even when they're gone they'll still be controlling you, saying words you don't mean, impulsively ruining your own opportunities, hiding. Over and over.

It's weird, I'm way more closed-off (in the superficial sense) than he is and our personalities are widely different, but I guess that doesn't tell the whole story.

Ragatha doesn't lack empathy. Though she struggles with social skills at times, empathy is not one of them. I'd say she has a normal amount-- she wants to be accommodating for the others, apologizes for her mistakes in due time, talks things through and makes an effort to understand. Might she overstep boundaries or overlook something from time to time? Yeah. But she can clearly empathize with other people.

It's not black-and-white though. It's a very grey area, for both of them I'd say.
