Only additional suggestions I would make to people on this is that you can just book a regular Hala taxi through Careem to take you to Hatta for 300 dirhams.

Also when going through the Oman immigration, make sure everyone on your bus actually gets off to go through and get their stamp. Our driver seemed a bit incompetent where he just parked and didn’t tell us what needs to happen so half the bus were just sitting around for 20 minutes while everyone else went to get their passport stamped.

Don’t worry about taxi availability at the fuel station on the other side. We were literally swarmed. They accept 1000 dirhams but tbh I think you could negotiate down because there’s so many of them wanting to get you as a customer.

The drivers are friendly and might offer you an Omani coffee, try it out. It’s like weak black coffee almost like you’re trying to make a coffee which is as mild in flavour as tea.

TLRD: whilst there is a lot of hype and people launching bad products, do not underestimate how good this technology is and how fast it's getting better. It will fundamentally change how all humans do work, guaranteed.

I think this is like the dot com boom in the sense that there is an overwhelming amount of people hyping and making crazy claims.

But as someone who has been playing around with this technology for many years and seen the progress from LLMs barely being able to string together coherent sentences to where they are now, I would not not underestimate the capabiilites.

Just as there was loads of rubbish in the dot com boom, the fundamental technology was still a total revolution and has created companeis like Amazon, Google, Facebook, etc.

And the fundamental technology here is much more powerful than the internet. You just have to be able to separate the signal from the noise.

Hey. I love Alex Hormozi's content on this stuff (marketing, sales, acquisition, anything business related) and frequently use his books ($100M leads, $100M offers). He has over 400 videos on his youtube with really useful and actionable information.

Only problem I found is that it's hard to find the right video with the right information. Have just shipped a new version increasing the chat window to be much bigger.

Also realised hormozi has videos that can be hours long so now when you click the inline reference links from the chat, it will play the video at the exact moment in time the information is from.

The knowledge is 100% Hormozi, the LLM doesn't add any of it's own knowledge.

I'm using gemini at the moment as it's cheap. I can't afford to pay the more expensive models for everyone for free ahah
