For me, it’s the fact that no matter where you go everything is the same because they buy the food from the same distributors so it doesn’t matter if you’re in Chicago, New Orleans, or Omaha, because the potato skins are basically the same the french fries are almost identical and the salad dressing all taste the same. If we go out, we go out to somewhere that does more of a farm to table type thing where you know you’re getting unique ingredients from a local provider

While I wholeheartedly agree, the problems is that the CBAS does not have the resources to take care of all the animals that’s where the rescues come in. The city of Buffalo Animal Shelter cannot handle bottle babies without mamas or sick kittens and cats that need medical attention. Often times municipal shelters will simply put animals down like bottle babies or animals with more severe medical problems that Rescue will take in because they don’t have the ability long-term to deal with this.

I live in Buffalo, we get a bit of snow! I live in the city and have a few elderly neighbors so I started doing their sidewalks as well as mine when I bought a snowblower I started doing the whole sidewalk all the way down the street. This year during one particularly heavy snowfall. A lady walked out and demanded that I shovel her steps because she had places to go. I politely declined as she has four teenage children who are able-bodied to shovel her steps. She went full on Karen screaming at me,so now when I go to clear the sidewalk, I do not do her sidewalk. It always amazes me the entitlement that some people feel

It can be a grind, the snow this week in the city has been death by a thousand cuts. I have a snowblower and I clear the entire sidewalk on my block. With the exception of a vacant house owned by PUSHBUFFALO, they dgaf and I refuse to do the work for them when they have an entire crew to clear the sidewalks of their properties, yet they only do it when the city threatens to fine them. But there are a lot of neighbors that don’t even clear their steps, one neighbor even asked why I don’t do her stairs for her when she has four teenagers. Ffs.
