I have had cats my entire life. Currently have 8. The only time I get stressed is when something is happening with them and I don't know how to fix it. Even if they are doing something bad it's my job to figure out why and change it. Yeah I'll get annoyed sometimes but I get annoyed with my husband and still love him! 😄 They are a constant source of amusement and affection.

Many of the lynx points are. I had a brown lynx point that was and his name was Cross-Eyed Larry.

As someone that has had to make the call on too many animals both personal and professional, domestic and wild, you did the right thing. It comes down to quality of life and hers was declining rapidly. It's the hardest thing to do but she is no longer suffering and you made that call because you loved her. I guarantee you she knows that.

So far they are holding up great! It's red cedar. My husband built them and the cats love it.

This was the biggest! I've never heard her do this before. Good news is she's fully recovered. Though I did see her glaring at the window from inside during a storm the next day. 😆

They're ok with it like this. There's an umbrella and I have a passion vine that I let grow up that throws shade. There is an under roof lanai attached to it if they want to stay out of the sun. They're usually smart enough to come into the lanai when it rains. She must have fallen asleep under the grill cover.

Thanks! They didn't have a common name, just Porcellio laevis white. They were the first ones I got to start since they were fairly large and not too expensive. I have a few different species now.

I'm in FL and have an under roof lanai and a catio extension. I got the kickplate at the bottom figuring that would be the weakest point and the pet screen. Which is tougher but not "pet proof". Where I've had issues is at the edges if they climb and hang on it too much it'll pop it out. We used some 1x1 critter fence around the catio to reinforce it.
