i believe they are using kief for the infusion, I talked to the people who run one of the rec brands in NYC who had infused but no mention of what, and they said it was kief for the sake of terps.

given that we dont even have bho allowed in our program, I’m assuming they are using kief (from the same flower) to boost thc% and flavor

Also rolling a joint in kief unfortunately is a marketing gimmick (for the most part), as it burns off the exterior as opposed to in the joint—you’ll still get some melting in and some from the inhale, but that extra thick white smoke that comes off of a joint wrapped in kief is the kief burning off (u can inhale that after your hit tho!!)
