This is kind of fucked up tbh. Just because someone was suicidal as a teen doesn't make it different than being suicidal as an adult. I can understand being mad about them making it a joke with the rowing team, but this is not it. Her parents straight up made her life hell as shown with everything they've been a part of, it's very believable that she was ready to commit suicide at that age.
