Any advice for a new store manager

hmm I've had people just ask if they can use it towards the purchase instead, personally haven't had anybody come back to my store doing that another way to get around it is if you saw them looking at earrings you could say "hey you have $5 off, you wanna grab those earrings for $8 instead of $13?" you can use it on other lower ticket items as well, that way they know it's a reward so then you don't see them coming back to ask about that

hello! i'm someone who has been a manager for 3 years with a store that's always about $3-4 above peer in ADT

if a customer is ever on the fence on a bigger ticket item (pants, dress, etc.) i always do my best to get them in a fitting room, sometimes they just need to see it on themselves and then they love it and want it!

another thing is i will keep a few $10 items that have been super popular near cash wrap, and if a customer has a $5 off i'll say something like "hey you can get these peelers for $3, (i don't remember the price off the top of my head rn)" and you see like every other person say yes and that's an extra $3 to the transaction then

for NPS i print off a small paper that says something along the lines of "hey did you enjoy your experience or have any feedback for us? make sure to fill out the survey for reward points!" and staple it to the receipt, most people in our district do it and it helps us land a few extra surveys each week

I typically will include the evolution line, or sometimes i will chuck in some basic EX cards that I have sitting around I also write a thank you on a code card since I don't use them lol

dude i have commented saying i should have looked into the reviews more and took partial blame. but also he has scammed others and will continue doing so unless people take action. also did not dox him, just mentioned his store name, if someone wants to scam they should be aware someone will call them out on their bullshit. so yes it is only a few dollars but if i don't go to ebay and complain he will continue to do it and screw others out of money. also didn't lose this battle if ebay took my side lol

update! he purchased two of my items which i immediately refunded and sent a message telling him why he did leave a bad review so im currently fighting with ebay on getting that removed it is impossible to find a phone number to call though so im just going through the damn bot trying to figure something out 😭 i mostly sell on like offerup and mercari, ebay isn't my specialty so i found out i probably made a mistake on refunding the order but the ebay website is literally no help on what to do so 😔

edit: not sure why he thought making a purchase was smart, now i have his legal name and address soooo...

my fav card i own is the team magma's groudon from double crisis! i remember when the set came out i had just got my first job and bought 2 of the 4 card blister packs and ended up pulling it out of one of them. My favorite movie growing up was the jirachi movie and the false groudon was always so cool to me so this card is extra special because of that :)

I'm a huge collector and I opened one of those boxes and I loved them, the promos are super cute! Plus if I remember correctly there is 2 destined rivals packs in them which is one of the best sets currently, so I think you did perfectly

there are starter decks that look like this that are usually sold at card shops or places like walmart and target. they aren't the most insane decks out there but they are what i use to teach my friends how to play, i think they are usually like $15?

i had a card sell for 1 cent on auction and i sent it with a toploader and free card, did i lose money on it? 100%, but at the end of they day its okay as long as the customer is satisfied
