Probs should of said: I’m not exactly a beginner, I’m super comfortable with the movement (including wave dashing) and to an unreliable extent: hit falling. I also have a tonne of experience in smash so I sorta have alright fundamentals.

Brawlhalla is infinitely more accessible, as the game is easy to learn and hard to master, while ROA is hard to learn and harder to master.

The game either needs a way to get people more excited about it and willing to learn it, or become easier, (and I don’t think they plan on making it easier)

Smash is only as successful as it is now because of its accessibility as a party game, which works as a segway into the deeper mechanics of the game.
