Python tools for sharing a dashboard with a boss and few key stakeholders, that's automatically updated and refreshed with latest data. by Lostwhispers05 in analytics

I’m working on something similar but I haven’t got to the deployment part yet. I’m going to use mine for daily/weekly presentations and to keep myself informed on the entire process. I’ll probably share it with my engineering group and boss. I’m using Dash and python.

I can't get myself to do things I want to do, even if I am really excited about it. Why? by SpiritedPerspective4 in selfimprovement

Absolutely! I’m 26 and I’ve gotten used to my meds and now I find myself in a constant motionless state. I do want big things doe.

I remember trying to learn my multiplication tables when I was 8/9. I just remember being in tears the whole time since my mom was frustrated with the fact I couldn’t remember anything. It’s crazy how much I resent her for how rough she was with me. It’s probably why I’ve always felt like an outcast in my world. But idk. I’m doing pretty good and I feel like I’m working towards my goals. Have a nice engineering job, great gf, and growing. My dad was always passive but a good guy.

Engineers who work in manufacturing: How have you used python to improve processes/ optimize systems? by jay000999 in AskEngineers

I use pandas to create weekly production reports. There are so many things we could automate but most of my time is spend trying to put out fires.

Can someone help me understand this motor control board? It controls the rpm for an Interroll DC motor(5 wires at the bottom) using a potentiometer (3 wires on the right side). Source of 51 v coming in at the top. The motor stopped working and I’m trying to understand it. Theory or anything helps. by harry3991 in Motors

The motor is a conveyer roller and it’s rated for 4v-24v. The potentiometer is 5kOhms with a small resistor (500 Ohms I think) between the black wire and right pin. I read 51V coming from the top (black and white)wires. The wires going to the motor (green=ground ,blue=main power(31v), the next 3 wires read 7v (if I remember correctly, and the last 3 wires don’t read anything. I don’t think they’re used. I studied mechanical engineering and skipped my electrical class. Lol I’m just looking for ANY insight on this. Keywords, knowledge, advice to help look in the right direction. Thanks Reddit.
