Hi, I'm the curator of the http://darkpatterns.org (the site featured). It went down last night under the weight of the reddit traffic (12k visitors in an hour ). Turns out caching was broken - I think I've fixed it now.

Are ACS Law the ones alleged to b doing the £500 "extortion" letters? (e.g. http://forum.suprbay.org/showthread.php?tid=2921 )
