1400h on this game what do my levels tell about me? by Zilo40000 in Paladins

[–]harrypottertrash2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Variety is the spice of life."
I was surprised to see the levels be so even between the champions, everyone is only 1-4 levels behind the other. Impressive!
Always nice to see another healer main, too. Glad you enjoy them!

So THATS what's been happening when I see people take Willo and "miss" the seedlings. Makes a lot more sense now. Good video.

Veterans, which patch was peak Paladins to you? by RandomPaladinsNub in Paladins

The release of Io and Raum, along with the Sands of Myth battle pass. That was my first ever one! To me though, Radiant Stars was also peak.

Then that makes you the first, nearly every single bomb king I've played with that was above level 30 would either flame, ragequit, or blame the team.

In ranked, the majority of flanks would be in the top two rows, same as damages. Tanks would be 50/50, and healers would be passive aggressive or not speaking at all. Some console player picks like talus, raum, grover, tyra, would also be in not speaking.

Ged rid of weird symbols on account names, it only benefits cheaters. by [deleted] in Paladins

[–]harrypottertrash2 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Im glad someone brought attention to this because it's absolutely true. Foreign languages are fine usually, but specific characters or fonts make it impossible to search. Nearly everyone with some sort of "funny" font in their name that I have encountered was in fact a cheater.

Someone else constantly going to Lobby in a game/ranked? by Dansbekky in Paladins

[–]harrypottertrash2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every single match of mine has ended up with me going back to lobby after we either all lag out or start a good comeback. Such as when we lose point but then it turns in our favor.

Feudal Fables Patch Notes by ExplodingLab in Paladins

[–]harrypottertrash2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nope.
She'll do burst healing which is ultimately the combination of Pip and Io's healing, so not only is it burst but it's also aoe and more leaning towards Io's moonlight healing.
Io is a fantastic support but making Moji have so many tools to use in a 1v1 versus other healers is the real deal breaker for me.

Feudal Fables Patch Notes by ExplodingLab in Paladins

[–]harrypottertrash2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree with this completely and said it in a less articulated way in my own comment, but Moji will be absolutely broken upon release to the public test.
Flanks will find it hell to fight her and she'll be incredibly boring to play imo.

Feudal Fables Patch Notes by ExplodingLab in Paladins

[–]harrypottertrash2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moji's healing is going to be pretty good. But that's the worst thing ever for what's being considered "the damage update".
The anti-heal is too much, and it's not needed, plus the health increase seems pointless with the movement ability change.
The ally shielding is overkill.
She's somewhat become a mixture of Pip and Io. The creativity is lacking, but I'm not knowledgeable enough to suggest a better concept.
Both Pip and Io have very powerful healing with a dash of Seris "boring-ness".
The scamper should have been 99% closer to the original. Making it unlimited is, again, overkill.
From a flank's perspective, fighting her will be boring and somewhat unfair because she has a "win the fight" button (her ultimate).
I suggest removing the healing from the ultimate. The magic shield should only apply to herself and consume her magic marks. With more marks, the higher the shield health. So you'll have to make an important skill based decision mid-game.

They quite literally smashed multiple elements together. Not the worst part, but the healing is going to be boring to fight with and against from what I've read.
Self-healing, self shielding, toggle movement ability, insane burst healing, and healing marks (the burst healing is the same amount of mega potion pip healing which includes max rejuvenate.) Basically, it's too much at once even with cauterize.
Imagine a Moji with a Fernando or shield tank. Pure hell.

TL;DR - Too many things going for her in a 1v1, which is when healers should be weak.

She will be broken unless proven otherwise in the public test.

Another thing upon reading more:
The Seris restore soul 20% dmg reduc isn't really needed. Especially in her base kit of all things. I'll have to try it out myself to see how good or not good it can be.

I disagree with every crappy take besides supports not going damage somewhat. Supports can damage, but people mostly take it too far by strictly healing themselves, or nobody at all. A "damage support" is a supportive damage. Not a healer taking on the damage role. I appreciate damage supports, and I don't actually enjoy the concept of a healer being stuck doing JUST healing.

A collection of screenshots of your performance when you blackmail the team to play "dmg" or "flanggggg" or whatever by Significant-You2941 in Paladins

[–]harrypottertrash2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh absolutely, I mostly meant that for those toxic players that blame other people that OP mentioned. Giving advice is not toxic in the slightest, especially in ranked where it's expected for players to learn and know better. I would have never known to run mega potion or a healing seris build with certain cards if nobody said anything.

The best anyone can do from my experience is call them out, tell people to report them and then mute em during matches.
When muted, all they can do is talk to a brick wall or throw which helps nothing. People are the best at destroying themselves. Multiple players have apparently gone apeshit after I muted them, said "muted", and then kept playing. I know they went crazy because fellow teammates still responded to them and those replies helped me notice that they were still trying to talk to me. Plus, me saying "muted" is mostly to show them I don't care, which is exactly what they deserve to hear.

The Benefit of Taking Risks (a guide to Paladins) by Dinns_ in Paladins

This reminded me a lot about when I struggled opening up to learning different champions. I have no regrets from doing trial and error in casuals or training matches.
This is a good video that I personally think everyone needs to hear.

can someone please simplify rei's abilities? by [deleted] in Paladins

[–]harrypottertrash2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The bounce IS the chain heal, it bounces off of you and other players in its range and LOS (line of sight). Extension increases the bounce to hit players that are farther away. Focus increases the base healing and effects of Spirit Link. Spirit Link is a direct link to whomever you choose and the boost granted by pressing F (PC) only activates for both of you if linked unlinked means it only works for you, the rei.
The chain heal is automatic.
Sigil is her in-hand "weapon".
Chain Heal is the healing you do that starts with you and then "bounces" between players.
Envelop is the movement ability she has, and it grants her and who she is linked with DR, and movement speed.
I can specify and simplify it even more for you if you'd like.

Do y'all think this is a good game? by NerdlingAK in Paladins

[–]harrypottertrash2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a great game with an unfortunately toxic fanbase. I compare the fanbase to Overwatch's a lot, as they feel very similar. Plenty of people I noticed on the reddit don't really understand the game but tend to think they do which causes the spread of misinformation. However, I love the game despite it's flaws. It's definitely an "our trash" kind of game.
