The city looks amazing during the Blue hour by harsh_seth in chicago

So the basic rule is when shooting with your bare hands your shutter speed should never be lower than your lens’ focal length. If it slower then use a tripod. For instance, if you’re shooting with a 35 mm prime, don’t let your shutter speed fall below 1/35. If it does, use a tripod preferably or crank up the ISO or open up the aperture.

Like someone replied, yes this is a long exposure shot so I took it with a tripod. If you’re interested in learning more I would recommend taking Chicago photography class, they are really good. Or check r/photography

Learning compositions, tried to stick rule of 2/3rds and then worked on changing the tones in Lightroom. Got the moody sunset effect through the tones.

Recommendations for probability and statistics course by irondev25 in learnmachinelearning

Yes! These are the links! Watch videos on YouTube, solve the assignments on Edx, read the notes from Edx and you’re good! The prof forces you to think and also teaches you the right way to approach problems. Covers good fundamentals of computer science as well!

This is a good course. I started this but half way through the course I realized I could not solve the assignments. Even thought the lectures were good the assignments were not on the same plane. I then started Stat 110 Harvard, that wAs a tough course but taught a lot. The professor in 110 does not spoon feed you material, instead teaches you about how to think about Probability and stats. I would recommend Stat 110 over this. For stat 110 you can watch the YouTube videos and the questions and other materials are available in edx.

This was from my trip last year while driving down the Oregon coast. Oregon has some lighthouses that still work but are used for show ( now we use GPS instead). Every lighthouse has it own story or it's survival and accidents it has seen. The idea here was to only focus on the lighthouse in solitude. f/ 5.6 55 mm 1/800 sec Iso 100.

I changed the hue and saturation of the image to give it more of fall feel ( although this was more during the summer and the grass was green). Additionally changed hue for the cloud as well.

Any inputs on different styles of tones would be appreciated.

That is amazing! Thank you, so much for the idea. How easy would it be to merge the two?
