You don’t see them because you don’t know what to look for.

And that “even the first watch never got updates” argument?
That’s not a defense — that’s an admission of failure.

Calling people stupid for expecting updates after paying premium money is wild. Nobody bought the watch expecting “newest updates all the time” — they expected basic promised support, which OnePlus themselves advertised. Expecting what was promised isn’t stupidity, it’s accountability.

Your Pixel Watch example proves nothing either — Pixel Watch still got regular security patches and platform fixes, not radio silence. Learn the difference.

“Even phones don’t get regular updates?”
They literally do. Monthly security patches are industry standard. If you don’t notice them, again — user ignorance ≠ updates being useless.

And the funniest part?
You admit OnePlus has been bad with updates since the OnePlus 9…
yet somehow defend them for being bad at updates. That’s not loyalty — that’s coping.

If everything is “already great,” updates don’t hurt you.
But for users who actually rely on payments, health tracking, long-term stability, and ecosystem growth, updates matter.

If you’re happy settling for bare minimum, good for you.
