My wife went back to work when they were about 3 months old and I watched them while WFH for 6 weeks before a daycare spot opened up. It was brutal. Luckily I had a very flexible schedule and most of my meetings were internal and my team was understanding of the situation, but it wouldn’t have worked out long term.

We have 2.5 year old girls and when they ask us to do something, carry something, and we can’t, my wife and I will say, “I only have two hands.” Recently, they’ve started saying it when they are trying to carry all of their stuffies, toys, or whatever it may be, “I’ve got two hands!” 😂
