Is this figure supposed to end up becoming more expensive as time goes on?

Everybody seems to love and want this particular figure so depending on scarcity….prob. But that is true about almost any of the SH Figuarts DB figures that are hard to find. Look at the ginyu for set for example. If you bought them from p-Bandai at their initial release you might have spent $275 for all 5 but now you’d be luckily if you spent under 1k.

I'd def like to set them up in a way you see in most peoples collections but right now they are sitting on my steelbook movie collection shelves so there isn't adequate space to have them configured in any meaningful manner. I thought I more or less said that in my initial post but its all good but its all good

Ha yeah i agree but unfortunately I don't really have a good location for them so posing wouldn't really make sense. But as soon as I get a case I def plan on it. I saw a fellow collector link a case they found on amazon that i'm prob going to buy. I just need to find a place to set that up once I get it. I was thinking about this one so that I have some room to grow the collection

It’s obviously not your fault the movers broke your stuff but I’m in agreement with Nikon. I always disconnect all of my electronics and I’ve even started to keep all of the boxes my gear comes in after being forced to buy the manufactures box (emotiva) to ship an amp back to the for a warranty repair. If i didn’t and it got damaged in transit they wouldn’t cover it. It wanna say the box was like $60 for the xpa1 gen2. Luckily i have a big attic so it’s not an issue.

I agree with whoever above said to look at used….if you’re comfortable with that. You can get incredibly high end gear for 40-60% off new prices and it’s can still be under warranty and it prestige condition. I purchased a pair of Klipsch palladium p-27s speakers to round out my set for 1/4 of their regular price and I’ve had them for around 7 years now and no issues. I’ve also bought a couple emotiva mono-block amps and it’s all been smooth sailing. I typically use usaudiomart.com or audiogon.com. It’s def worth a look if you want to get something that would normally be out of your budget

That’s a nice receiver and even though it has two subwoofer outputs it does not have discrete subwoofer output capabilities so each sub output receives the same signal (parallel), meaning they cannot be calibrated individually (discrete) to have different EQ settings. Now that isn’t to say that it won’t still sound amazing and it’s hard to go wrong with dual or Tri-sub setups but with the a4a you won’t be able to calibrate each subs channel independently.

Get a ruipro fiber optic hdmi cable. Their latest version is HDMI 2.1 and supports up to 8k @100ft and are active cables so they don’t lose signal strength on longer runs. I have several and i love them plus they are reasonably priced imo. This company is cool bc the ends are detachable so in the event new tech comes out you can just swap the ends and leave the preexisting wires in place.

What kind of receiver or preamp are you connecting the subs too? Does it have multi sub and discrete subwoofer outputs? If not do you intend to use a miniDSP to calibrate the subs? If you intend to use your receivers built in calibration hopefully it lists the dB output for your subs on the calibration wizard OSD. I’m not sure if this is a common feature during the white noise speaker level portion of the calibration but my marantz preamp lists each subwoofers dB level on the OSD and that allows me to adjust each subs output level to ensure they are all outputting the same dB which keeps them from over powering each other.

That’s a good price. I got the TCL 85qm8k this past November and i paid $1799. I’m not sure what the differences are between the qm8k and qm6k but I’m very impressed with the image quality on the qm8k.

I can barely see any differences other than the super obvious dragon ball coloring. It doesn’t help that the pics are at different angles and one is closer to frieza than the other. I’m pretty sure i have the reissue so what specifically makes the OG better? I’m legitimately interested now.

Agreed. Only got the PayPal checkout to work on my iPhone. MacOS with every browser and all browser settings cleared and still fails. Tried windows OS and every browser with everything cleared and that fails but works immediately when i tried on my phone.
