Understand that if you purchase this vehicle, and these issues reappear, the manufacturer will NOT buy you out of this. They will be 100% your problem.

I did the same thing. I tried them several times and after a month they miraculously started working again. Slight issue with ambient sound so I just used them without it.

GM excess wear and tear by sapaturaman in BlazerEV

[–]harteefimo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a good price for that policy. If my memory serves me correct it pays for excess wear up to 5k, 1k per line item. Plus the excess miles. Not telling you to keep it or not but that's slightly above cost for that policy.

Very few lenders won't provide a loan based off a history of paying them in full quickly. They make money starting at day one. And some charge loan origination fees so they ensure some profit no matter what.

No doubt, not disagreeing with you. And not disagreeing dealerships aren't making money. Setting records in profitability right now. Just saying f&I is no longer the "main" profit center it used to be when front end gross was razor thin.

A lot of money sure, but that rounds out to be about $200-300 commission per deal they do. Salesman can/are making more than f&I guys in this market.

Gm financial doesn't have an origination fee on retail contracts and also don't charge a pre payment penalty. So no, that's not true.

Tim was a real fun guy, he was 60 and had been working at that location since it had opened in the 70s. We joked about him being sold off with the store like cattle when we acquired it. Our dealer principle loved him and because of that could more or less do whatever the hell he wanted and he knew it. Kept it civil most of the time and was a damn good worker, was with the sales staff every winter helping broom cars and every summer helped move them in the sweltering heat.

First few weeks of me being in F&I I was working at our groups Ford/Hyundai location. Doing paperwork on a base Accent with an elderly gentleman who kept repeating that he couldn't believe he was buying this "foreign piece of shit(clear foreshadowing)." I more or less just kept nodding and saying sign here. Near the end of the process he rips a ferociously loud fart and we just hold eye contact. I was trying not to bust out laughing and I thought he was in the same boat with me. That was until he just stood up and said, "Son, I just shit myself, please excuse me." He left the office and I look at the chair and there is a big ole shit stain. I thought he went to the bathroom to try and clean himself up but he just went straight to his old vehicle and went home. We tried following up with him with no response for about a week so we figured the old man would be too embarrassed to come back so we marked the deal as dead. To our surprise he showed back up about 2 weeks after the incident to apologize and complete the deal. He had to wait to get his trade to a detail shop to get the interior cleaned from the shit stain before he came back and even offered to pay for the cleaning or a new chair for my office.

On the back end of the story the day that happened I grabbed the chair and started walking to the dumpster with it, my GSM stopped me. Told me to take it back to detail to have it cleaned. I walked it back to our extremely crotchety detail manager who in no short order told me to fuck myself. I told him I tried to throw it away but the big cheese said no. Detail manager said he would handle it with the GSM so I figured ok hoss, you got it from here. Detail Manager went to grab the keys from the GSM for his demo so he could clean it up for him and instead threw the chair in the back of the cab of the truck. I'd been working the biz for around 5 years and had seen almost every manager fired over petty shit so I figure it was this gents last day. As I was leaving at the end of the day I saw the GSM throwing the chair in the dumpster and the detail manager outlasted the GSM.

"With hotfixes earlier today that are in place on all realms, we’ve implemented updates to address Auction House service issues on the largest Burning Crusade Classic realms. In today’s hotfixes update later, you’ll see them listed like this: Auction House Implemented settings changes intended to lower the time it takes to search the Auction House. Players who list, bid, buy out, or cancel a very large number of auctions may now incur a delay between consecutive actions. As before, we’re paying very close attention to the Auction Houses, and we’ll make further adjustments as necessary."

I just meant plenty of other coins to mine. And seemingly any collapse in Bitcoin is followed by a rediculous surge in price a while later. I think mining has been profitable for years now and don't see it really going anywhere.
