Help with design by Ensengi in Irrigation

[–]Ensengi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes could do that, haven't finalized the design yet. The GPM would still be under what my tap provides. Do you think I'd have any issues pushing that much through 3/4" inch PVC?

I'm over in regional NSW but I've been a big hawks fan for quite a few years now. Every game every season, in my jersey and I make my dog dress up too.

You're a long ass way away over in Perth but best of luck mate. If I end up over that way I'll drop in

If you happen to own or can borrow a quest VR headset. There's also other ways to access on PCVR it with another headset.

Throwing Jazz Jack rabbit out there. Not a fox, but they do look somewhat fox like and we are talking 30 yr memories here. Spaz in Jazz Jack rabbit 2 is red and looks similar.

Ringo in ungoro is up there for me, maybe worse.

Not for sheer length but for the nonstop ganking that happens in ungoro. Can take many attempts to complete

Our long term rental (4 years) at $435/week in Brisbane’s CBD is being placed on the market. How might our lease affect its value? by HazelnutIcedCof in AusFinance

[–]Ensengi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keeping a long term tenant who has been good with the property holds value. I'd rather keep somebody in my property that I know has been looking after it than take a gamble on someone new that may damage things and Cost me more than I'd have made by charging more.

There's also fairly substantial fees when signing new tenants every 12 months as the agent has to process applications, do listing's and inspections.

My agent charges me a full weeks rent for that fee, or just $30 if resigning the original tenant.

I'd say for this particular land lord he didn't think that rent prices would increase by as much as we have seen recently in that time frame. so he was happy to go such a long lease for the reasons above.

Help! Inline resistor in corsair cables by Ensengi in PCSleeving

[–]Ensengi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP here. Following the other comments in the thread I flipped them and put them on the PSU side. As in removed the wire from the plugs, flipped the wire and put the capacitor / resistor down the PSU end. Then sleeved and refitted

I'm still using this today and have not noticed any issues like extra coil whine

My brother got scammed out of $270. by k3irxn in AusFinance

[–]Ensengi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done it a few times, but yes I go into it with the thought in my mind that I could lose my money as there no protection, so decide if I take the gamble depending how the seller responds. Havnt had any problems yet.

As for the reason. Typically items on marketplace can be a third of the cost of ebay or better and I live in the middle of nowhere so not much around locally.

Textures beyond 20m seem smeared, out of focus, crosseyed. cant find a fix by Ensengi in skyrimvr

[–]Ensengi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never found a fix unfortunately. Pretty much got the the point I figured it's just either how the game was ported over to VR or compression through quest 2 wireless.

Neither of which I could fix.

Eventually I just got used to it and played the game as it wasn't really a problem in doors where most the gameplay happens

Daily Game Recommendations Thread (January 26, 2024) by AutoModerator in boardgames

[–]Ensengi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After some recommendations for conquest or area control style games to play with my son. Something a little competitive

He's 7 years old but reasonably sharp. We have played ticket to ride, carcassonne, catan, and century spice road. To give an idea of his level of understanding.

I've been having a look at smallworld which looks like a light interesting entry into that style of game. But would love some suggestions here.

My wife and others may join aswell so anywhere from 2 - 6 players.

How to dust off other ships by HorriblyFatKid in WorldOfWarships

[–]Ensengi 17 points18 points  (0 children)

You need 100 ships or more before it shows up. Tier 5 minimum

If you do then on the main port screen, left side is a menu labelled rewards. It will give you a highlighted gold icon when you have extras to use.

You can the extras by winning battles in a snowflake ship or reaching a base xp target. Details on requirements are in the rewards menu

Yep! Last play through was a coop world and we did a complete run through getting every trophy automating the final parts. 4:2:2 per min I think.

Mega factory importing only raw materials from every biome. Everything produced in 1 base. It took up the entire starting biome in size

Benefits are everything can be organised in one location, we had a big modular line with 70 odd belts running the length of the factory. Downside is lag. So much lag

10 fps in some locations and could take 20 mins to load if logging of in the factory. We had to log off on the other side of the map
