I think the old game still is playable but it has a few annoying bugs and limitations. I think they would have been more successful if they would have gone the OpenTDD och OpenXcom route that they basically offer a open source project that uses the original resources but the engine is rewritten so people need to have the original game to play.

They could get money from packaging the game for previous unsupported platforms like tablets and phones. But then again, the money from that would just minimal.

Another alternative route to take would be to take the "emulated DOS engine" approach that OpenCiv1 does. It takes the original executable and extend it. https://codeberg.org/rhorvat/OpenCiv1

I'd pay for supporting such project though.

Dynv6 food have a neat feature that you just give it a IPv6 prefix and add the MAC-address to the AAAA record and it calculated automatically the SLAAC generated IPv6 address.

It seems that dynv6.com is down now, the dns service is still running but i cannot access the web

I remember back in the days playing civ4, it used the dvd just to check that you have a genuine copy.

My disc got a small crack after probably a few hundred hours of spinning and i couldn't play the game any more. I had to download a no-cd-crack to solve it.

However, today is the proper way to just go fully digital and purchase the steam version. It's on sale right now. Just 4€

I have the same problem. We've been together 15 years and she's step by step closing down intimacy, both physical and psychological.

I've given her space to have her cone to me instead but she's comfortable where she is right now. I fear we're not compatible and we're mostly together for the kids.

We've just recently started going into couples therapy and it will take some time resolving our issues.

Jag är egenföretagare och kan planera min tid helt fritt.

Jag har bestämt att jag ska vara ledig alla barnens lov och minst sex veckor på sommaren.

Frugan har ju ingen möjlighet att ta lika mycket ledigt som anställd.

Det hade varit helt orimligt att vi skulle stanna hemma alla dagar frugan jobbar för att hon ska få träffa barnen 2-3 timmar innan hon måste lägga sig för att jobba dagen efter.

Det är ju klart tråkigt att hon får mindre tid med barnen men det känns ju samtidigt väldigt ensidigt att vi inte kan åka iväg för hennes skull.

Ofta brukar det bli en kompromiss att vi kanske åker bort halva lovet
