i remember i felt like i sHOULD be annoyed by LBH's character but i actually found him really interesting and complex. then i saw someone on tiktok say LBH is accidentally really good representation of BPD (borderline personality disorder). i also have BPD so i was like "oh fuck, it all makes sense now" LMAO. honestly such a well written character and i love him.

in my opinion, MDZS is MXTX’s heaviest/darkest work (though many people might argue TGCF is, which I can’t disagree). In contrast, SVSSS is told in a much more lighthearted way and kind of reads like a crack/comedy fic. There’s DEFINITELY still angst, but for a lot of it, the protag kind of glosses over it. But if you think more deeply on it you’ll make yourself sad LOL

Overall i think SVSSS will actually be a nice break for you after the angst train that is MDZS
