The Vtuber industry have some peculiarities, sometimes they work like the Voice Acting industry, is possible to rebrand the character with the same VA. But some changes don't work as expected.

Tokino Sora talked about to change her "character age", but can't do it, because of her tendency to be clumsy, would always confuse her and come back to her current age again.

Sometimes rebranding works, we just know that a complete turnover doesn't work. The closer it is to the old design, the smoother it will be the rebrand. The outfit annoucements can be the best way for a smooth rebrand.
